Christo Kaftanjiev is a well-known scientist in the field of advertising, marketing communications and semiotics.
The main objective of the seminar of Professor Christo Kaftandjiev “Effective intercultural communication” is to develop the skills of effective intercultural communication, depending on the basic elements of the communication scheme. The objectives of the seminar are to form students’ ideas about effective intercultural communication based on the study of the Hofshtede theory, Hall’s theory on the temporal and spatial dimensions of cultures, according to our positive attitude to other cultures – an expression of different points of view. We will present universal patterns of communication in different cultures based on mythological archetypes. At the end of the seminar we will discuss typical communication errors.

Assoc. Professor Paskal ZHELEV is a specialist in international economics and international economic relations in the context of European economic integration.
The purpose of the course “International Trade” Assoc. Professor Zhelev P. is to provide students with knowledge about the nature of international trade, factors, policies, rules, institutions and current trends and problems faced by the global trading system. Next, we will discuss the role of international trade and various types of trading strategies for the economic development of countries in the context of Eurasian integration.
